…ma anche comoda per godersi il viaggio al massimo!
L'importante per me non è solo vestirsi bene, ma sempre in modo adatto al luogo in cui stai andando!
Di seguito trovate i miei consigli per la valigia del vostro viaggio in una delle Isole della Macaronesia (se state programmando un viaggio alle Canarie, Azzorre, Capo Verde, Madeira…questa lista è perfetta!)!

Me, and my Outfits, at Acores Islands
Overall, the outfits should be very sporty to adapt to these easygoing islands, fully immersed into nature.
Colours
They can be neutrals, like beige, white, black, or nature and flowers reminiscing colours, like green, brown, blue, and violet.
Patterns
I suggest plain, or striped. In general, sportive and basic.
Materials
Light, warm, stretchy, like cotton, jersey, denim…
Outfit 1
For the days of road-tripping 🚗with your car around the island 🏝️…
Windjacket
There are places with fog (like Pico Island), rain can come and go, some underground caves are freezing. Always carry it around with you during the day in your car.
T-shirts & Tanktops
During the day, if the sky is free, then the sun is very pleasing, you can enjoy a very good moderate weather with your sleveless items!
Shorts
During the day, if the sky is free, then the sun is very pleasing, you can enjoy
Sandals or Birkenstock
As the walks are quite easy, sandals should work fine for the sunny days!
Outfit 2
For the cloudy ☁️ days of exploration…
Long lightweight Pants
For the cloudy days, you might want to cover up your legs!
Lightweight Sweaters
Especially in the evening, it gets quite fresh, you’ll need to cover yourself!
Sneakers
The roads are always quite clean, so you can easily bring your daily sneakers without the worry to ruin them!
Outfit 3
For the days around the cities🏙️…
A Nice Blouse
You can use them for the day, but also in the evening when you go out!
A Denim Skirt
I chose it in denim because of its comfortability!
Sunglasses
In August especially, it’s sunny most of the time!
Outfit 4
For the coast swims🌊…
One-Piece Bikini
You will swim in natural pools with beautiful waters… but they are freezing! So a bikini with some coverage is better!
Striped Shirt
A super basic striped shirt to wear on top of your tops, t-shirts, and bikini for the everyday!
Flip Flops
Needed for staying in the house, but also for these swim occasions!
Rock Shoes
Not the cutest, but definitely needed in these waters with high currents and lava rocks!
Outfit 5
For the trekkings on Mountains ⛰️…or for Horse-back Riding🐎…
Sports Top
Prepare a Sports Top for those days of trekking. You will be hot after hours of climbing and trekking!
Leggings
Definitely needed for hiking, but also to cover up your legs whenever you walk in nature!
Trekking Shoes
The best you have for walking, also in mud conditions.
Outfit 6
For the evenings out 🌙…
Long Sleeves Blouses or T-shirts
You’ll definitely need the long sleeves, and cover up your belly. It’s quite cold.
Light Weight Jacket
I like the short trench for these kinds of trips, they don’t take a lot of space in your luggage, but they are warm and nice!
Long Pants
The city doesn’t have many chic places, so for most of the time, an outfit with long denim jeans should work.

For the dress-up evenings🌙…
Ballerinas
It’s too cold at night to go out with sandals, but I found it too warm to have boots. Ballerinas or mocassinos, in a very casual style, are the perfect choice. I was basically around the entire island just with them!
